Founded by passionate outdoorsman Billy Adams, our organization is proud to be the first to offer year-round sacalait fishing tournaments across Southeast Louisiana.
What started as a small idea among local anglers quickly grew into a highly anticipated series of fishing tournaments on the Northshore, attracting participants from across Louisiana and the Greater New Orleans area.
With a focus on family, sportsmanship, and promoting Louisiana’s outdoor culture, we’ve created an event series that celebrates both the thrill of the catch and the community that surrounds it.
Our Story
Billy Adams launched the Northshore Sacalait Tournament with one goal in mind: to give sacalait anglers a consistent and exciting competitive outlet. Many have tried—and failed—to create a successful, structured tournament series dedicated to sacalait fishing. The Northshore Sacalait Tournament is proud to be the first organization to do it year-round and do it right.
